As the corner stone of the redevelopment of an urban hotel, Design Collective proposed to elevate the 3-meal restaurant to attract both hotel visitors as well as the locals. Mela has given downtown Springfiled a destination for an upscale dining experience. The contemporary design and plan has resulted in a greater operating efficiency and profit margin. Design Collective was responsible for the design of the adjacent hotel lobby, business center, banquet rooms, and meeting spaces. Design Collective also developed the name and brand identity for the restaurant.
