Design Collective launches the E's of Design
Is there a single person living today that doesn’t think their life has become too complicated?
It seems to be almost universal that people are feeling the stress of balancing career responsibilities, family, personal health and a social life. Why should it be so complicated? Why does it have be that way?
When it comes to design, Design Collective Incorporated wants to make it easy for our clients.
That is why we subscribe to the four “E’s of Design”, which are Engagement, Effectiveness, Efficiency and Environment. To capture the message, DCI launches our E’s of design campaign, with a new banner on the exterior of our offices (at Nationwide Boulevard and 4th Street), new internal graphics and this blog.
DCI has always stressed the need to engage our clients and were pioneers in the practice of designing at the client’s business site. We get to know our clients and their business objectives so we can plan solutions that will let them realize their goals.
Effectiveness is realized in the final design product. Whether it is a new graphic or a total interior space, DCI’s team of architects, interior designers and graphic designers work to make the solutions (our deliverables) effective.
And, we try and do it in a way to maximize efficiency. An early user of BIM (building information modeling) and other electronic tools allow us to get the work done more quickly. We take pride in servicing our clients. We think that is why so many of our clients come back and work with us again and again.
Finally, we care about the environments we create. Not just in being responsible stewards of the environment (as demonstrated by our LEED certified projects) but by being concerned for how our interior spaces wear over the years and how other humans will feel in our spaces.
Recently a client wrote from our Senior Living portfolio wrote us "... Design Collective has an amazing way of making projects easy and fun, while truly taking the time to understand the client's goals and budget constraints. At the end of the day, the proof is in the numerous compliments we have received from both our residents and guests."
So, let DCI show you the “E’s of Design”.
